Professor Christine Cooper

Non-Executive Director

Christine Cooper is a professor of accounting at Edinburgh University. She is co-editor-in-chief of the academic journal, Critical Perspectives on Accounting. Her research is concerned with the economic, political and social impact of accounting on our everyday lives. 

She is currently working on projects concerned with government accountability and prisons. She holds a PhD from the University of Strathclyde and a Masters’ degree from the London School of Economics. Christine is on the editorial boards of several international academic journals.
